Makerspace Starter Kit

The hot new Makerspace Movement is NOT new to Murray Hill Middle School. Eighteen years ago we designed and opened the school with the idea that we would have creation labs in the Media Center, GT room, and the TV studio. We started with video production, iMovie, Specular LogoMotion , Hyperstudio, and animation with Hollyood High kids. Here's an example of an EARLY (2003) video production called Bookfellas, featuring some Guy Ritchie-esque film direction techniques . Community Conversations: Using Google Forms, Docs & Wikis to Connect Outside Your School

Utilizing Google forms, docs, and wikipages we provide many ways for you to feel connected to our school and to have a voice! You suggest the books & we buy them! During your media center orientations you will hear more about contributing YOUR suggestions to our annual book order. Write a Book Review - Read a Book Review! Hey there Teacher-Librarian peeeps! I've started up something super cool i just gotta tell you about! And yeah, i'm behind the curve on this one....but i'm running to catch up! LOL Using a simple to create Google doc with a pre-set theme i created an online book review wikipage!
