I'm always open to learning more!

Thanks for your comment -- I'm so used to getting SPAM from some far away place trying to sell things on my blog.

Now, confess...did your Grad professor require you to leave X amount of comments on a Library Blog? [teasing grin] Hee hee....either way, I'm flattered and honored you found your way to mine.
Cheers dear & see below!
~Gwyneth @GwynethJones - The Daring Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00455804690126231910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128908838311784462.post-73114898810591598282020-02-15T21:49:20.020-05:002020-02-15T21:49:20.020-05:00Hey Samantha! Thanks again for your comments!
E...Hey Samantha! Thanks again for your comments!

Even a questionnaire can be a fun way to get to know your kids. As simple as an index card! OR.....you could have a soft squishy toy or rubber ducky you ask a question and pass it along as kids answer them -- saying PASS is good for 3 questions. Kind of like Andy Cohen's Plead the 5th! Good luck with your class! I'd love for you to reach out on Twitter or Instagram so I can follow you back and cheer you on your new Library journey!
Best,
~Gwyneth @GwynethJones - The Daring Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00455804690126231910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128908838311784462.post-30627020603365451642020-02-02T16:47:33.075-05:002020-02-02T16:47:33.075-05:00Thank you for this great idea to get to know stude...Thank you for this great idea to get to know students. I am currently taking a course on being a teacher librarian and one of my 'wonders' is how to get to know all of the students that come through your doors. I am currently a classroom teacher and spending time with students on a daily basis, you really get to build relationships with them. It's nice to have some ideas for my tool kit on what you can do to get to know the students as a teacher librarian.Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12118843422201636853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128908838311784462.post-25386846925222899772020-02-02T16:41:11.395-05:002020-02-02T16:41:11.395-05:00Thank you for this great activity idea! I am a classroom teacher currently taking a course on being a teacher librarian and wonder about ways to get to know all of the students that come through. It seems like a daunting task but having an activity like this could really help with that I'm sure!Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12118843422201636853noreply@blogger.com
